Target Shooting is an exciting Sport

It is one of a small number of sports open to almost anyone, irrespective of many disabilities, age, gender and fitness. Every person takes something different from the sport.

Smallbore rifle shooting involves the use of .22 calibre single shot target rifles,  firing .22 rimfire ammunition at paper or cardboard targets at distances of 25 yards to 100 yards.

The practical skills involved are very similar to those used for both full-bore and air rifle shooting with the main difference being the type of rifle and ammunition used.

A typical 25yd indoor target consisting of one central sighting diagram and ten scoring diagrams. A "10 shot" match such as this requires 2 compulsory sighters and a 3rd optional, followed by 10 scoring shots around the card.

The perfect score would be 100.10 where a "point 1" signifies an inner bull.
